Brisbane International Airport is about 100 km's north of Surfers Paradise. Airtrain and the Pacific Motorway connect the Gold Coast to Brisbane. Catching the Airtrain is the fastest and most affordable way to reach the gold coast directly from the Brisbane International & Domestic airports. Trains depart (on average) every 30 minutes and offer a cool, calm 85 minute air-conditioned journey to the Gold Coast. It operates twice hourly, between the hours of 5.35am & 8.02pm Monday to Friday, and 6.02am & 8.02pm on Saturday and Sunday. Once you arrive at the Gold Coast (Nerang Station) you can catch a taxi to your accommodation (another option is the Airtrain ticket with limousine transfer). Tickets can be purchased at the stations - follow the signs in the airports. If you are driving from Brisbane a variety of detailed maps should be available at the airport and rental company you hire from. It is about 40 km's south of Surfers Paradise at Coolangatta, and accepts domestic flights and flights from New Zealand. The Gold Coast airport is located in Coolangatta 40 km's south of Surfers Paradise. Several Tourist shuttle buses run from the airport.
